| This is a
caricature of my father. He was a retired Marine and served
from 1953 to 1976. This was one of my first carvings where I tried
to make it look like someone. I carved it in 1998 and the photo
album he is looking at has all of his grandchildren. They have all
since grown. He is carved in basswood, 7" x 6", and even has some
walnut in the rocker.
